Typically held in check by Cabernet Franc or Cabernet Sauvignon, our estate grown Merlot showcases structured individualism in this vintage. A ruby appearance imparts dark fruit aromatics and integrated tension on the palate, enriched by subtle spice and violet accents. From the clay dispersed throughout our Merlot site to its textured tannins, concentrated fruit, and medium-body, the 2021 Merlot is remindful of a traditional single-varietal from Saint-Émilion
